CyboSoft Presents MFA Control Technology at the Automation Developers Forum

March 1, 2005 – CyboSoft (Rancho Cordova, California) today announced that it will join industry leaders in the Automation Developers Forum to present its Model-Free Adaptive (MFA) control technology. The forum includes an 11 city tour throughout Northern America between March and May 2005. OEM or end-user customers in aerospace, automotive testing, biotech, chemical labs, medical devices, and semiconductor equipment are invited.

CyboSoft CEO Dr. George Cheng said, “We are excited about this opportunity to meet with current and future CyboSoft customers and discuss the control applications where our Model-Free Adaptive control is needed, and CyboSoft’s experiences and successes in using NI LabVIEW and hardware as a delivery platform.”

At the Automation Developers Forum, engineers and machine builders designing sophisticated control and measurement systems can learn about the latest technology advancements from distinguished industry leaders at this complimentary full-day event. The forum will be held in Houston, Chicago, Rochester, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Detroit, San Jose, Greensboro NC, Milwaukee, Toronto, and Vancouver.

CyboSoft, a National Instruments Alliance Partner, offers Model-Free Adaptive (MFA) Control Toolset software for NI LabVIEW, the LabVIEW Real-Time Module, and the LabVIEW FPGA Module. CyboSoft MFA controllers running in NI CompactRIO and LabVIEW Real-Time offer high-speed control loop rates (330 microseconds) and highly reliable I/O data precision (16-bit analog inputs and outputs). This performance and precision, which is crucial for high-end mission-critical control applications, was previously unattainable with off-the-shelf hardware. The MFA Control Toolset will also work with NI’s new Softmotion product providing extra high-speed and high precision motion control to high-end machine builders.
