MFA Motion Control Toolset for
NI LabVIEW™
The MFA Motion Control Toolset for LabVIEW software is specially designed for motion control applications. It includes embedded Model-Free Adaptive (MFA) motion controllers for the LabVIEW environment. NI platforms include PC, PXI, FieldPoint, Compact FieldPoint and CompactRIO. In LabVIEW Real-time, MFA can run faster than one millisecond providing powerful high-speed adaptive control capability for equipment control. Five MFA Motion control VIs (Virtual Instruments) as listed in the following table can be easily selected and configured. One or two MFA Eagle controllers or Nonlinear Time-optimal MFA controllers can also run in LabVIEW FPGA (cRIO 9004 with 3M FPGA gates or better) with up to 10 micro-second loop update rate.

What is Included: The Developers Pack is shipped with a software CD and a PC hard-key (parallel or USB). The Run-time license is shipped with a software CD and a soft-key based on the MAC address of PC, PXI, FP, or cRIO. To run MFA Eagle and Nonlinear Time–optimal MFA in PC based FPGA card, MFA Developer’s Pack is required.
