RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif., October 25, 2005 – CyboSoft today announced that it has signed a long-term software license agreement for its Model-Free Adaptive (MFA) control software with Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. in Buffalo Grove, Ill. CyboSoft’s patented MFA control technology has been embedded and delivered as part of the Siemens APOGEE® Building Automation System (BAS). It is estimated that Siemens will launch 100,000 new MFA control loops annually.

Kevin Osburn, executive vice president of Siemens Building Technologies, explained, “Proportional, Integral, Derivative (PID)-based controls have been the de facto industry standard in the commercial controls business for the last 20-plus years. Through our collaboration with CyboSoft, we are able to use its proven technology to provide a new and innovative solution that will improve facility performance for our customers.”

With exclusive rights to the technology, Siemens becomes the first and only major HVAC control systems provider to offer its customers the value of an MFA-based control solution. CyboSoft is poised to sign MFA control software license agreements with OEM partners in different market segments and application areas and will consider providing certain exclusive rights to give the OEM partner a leap in its competitive position.
