CyboSoft Announces the MFA Control
Toolset for LabVIEW
February 20, 2004 - CyboSoft
today announced the release of MFA Control Toolset for LabVIEW
version 1.1. Model-Free Adaptive (MFA) technology has long
been considered an industry breakthrough because it provides
adaptive, robust control for complex systems without the need
for process models. LabVIEW from National instruments is the
most widely used software for test, measurement, and control.
When PID is insufficient or to avoid building models, a LabVIEW
user can now select the appropriate MFA controller from the
MFA Control Toolset to provide high-speed adaptive control
for problematic loops. Delivered as Virtual Instruments (VIs)
in LabVIEW, no process model is required to launch an MFA
controller, and no controller tuning is required once installed.
Applications in aerospace, semiconductor equipment, laboratory,
and motion control are targeted.
